If the new Baz Luhrmann self-congratulatory orgy of narcissistic jingoism flick Australia will cost $130 million, and the new tax rebate offers producers 40% 'cash back guarantee', doesn't that mean the tax-payer is into this film for 52 million big ones?

I almost cried when I heard they were axing the Media Report... and I don't even live in the country anymore (mostly because of the shitness of the Oz media, but that's another story...). If Media Watch goes, I don't know what I will do.
Surely Baz's masterpiece will make enough money to pay for itself? It does star "our" Nicole, after all.
