This has been bugging me for a while now

Some bicycle seats are obviously very uncomfortable.

You can tell just by looking at them.

But you can also tell just how uncomfortable they are by the fact that cyclists, in the search for comfort, are willing to wear padded shorts that make them look as though they are wearing some kind of adult diaper.

So my question is, why not just put the padding on the seat in the first place and be done with it?

My seat is massive and covered in gel. It is super comfy. I can't really understand why anyone would want to sit on one of those tiny uncomfortable seat. My understanding is that they are somehow 'cool' though.

Also, for mountain bikers, they need to be able move behind the seat when going down hills etc. so its got to be fairly narrow. Is there a similar need for other cyclists.

a big bott plus a big seat = a very sweaty bott

a bott will get used to a small seat

how about that for an unpleasant theory

Because blokes thought it up and we know how practical they are.

Haven't laughed out loud for a long time reading something on the net. Love the photos too.
Cheered me up after a morning surfing the net for research.
Will definitely be back for more!
