Mediocrity - Australia says "sure, why not?"

Why does it have to be 'Australia' says no?

Why can't it be 'human beings' say no?

It's as though we can only influence the behaviour of people in this country through jingoistic references.

"Better not beat up your wife - it's not very patriotic."

Guh.

Is it wrong that every time I see this ad now, I can only hear the voice of Carol from Little Britain saying "Australia (computer) says nohhh"?

Yes, Sam, it's terribly wrong.

As Samuel Johnson said "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel"

Lol, it's like one step away from putting a cartoon kangaroo there instead.

At least it will save money,

Violence against Gays
Violence against refugees
violence against animals
violence against Howard*

The ad is interchangable.

*joking*
